Touted as one of the world's best surfing spots, Jeffreys Bay's Supertubes, the longest and most predictable wave attract surfers from around the world. This is a town where the daily lifestyle means surfing with dolphins, watching whales and their calves playing in the Bay, collect shells along the 32km of white sandy beaches, and gallop on horseback along the water's edge. Just 70km west of Port Elizabeth, Jeffreys Bay is the ideal family destination. Outdoor enthusiasts will find some of the best deep-sea, rock, surf and freshwater fishing and, within a short drive from town, exciting adventure activities like horseback riding, mountain biking, scuba diving, abseiling, hot air balloon safaris, kloofing, sandboarding, canoeing, sea kayaking and game drives.
