The climate is dry and healthy, particularly in winter when days are sunny and bracing, but with a possibility of frost at night. Summers are hot, with temperatures ranging from 16?C - 38?C.
The vast expanses of this African savannah bushland are home to a great variety of game species, including lion, buffalo and rhino, which are to be encountered at a number of the privately owned game lodges and farms.
